Luke Denny
Managing Director
Luke has more than 25 years of experience as a an owner's representative, real estate consultant , and broker completing transactions of more than $200M, and delivering more than $1B in capital projects.
Luke leverages his consulting and real estate experience from EY and CBRE, where he managed real estate portfolios for owners and occupiers, to deliver high capital projects. His expertise developing business integration plans for corporate real estate occupiers and track record of exceeding revenue growth objectives provides a unique perspective in mitigating risk associated with each assignment.
He works with Fortune 1000 companies, family offices, general contractors, and trade contractors.
He holds a Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech.
Luke is a licensed real estate broker in Georgia.
JD Clockadale
Managing Director
JD started his career as a 100% commission-based insurance professional with Prudential Insurance Company of America.
Building off an entrepreneurial start, he became one of the first Moe’s Southwest Grill franchisees. After successfully operating and selling two units, he launched a career helping executives and senior leaders enhance their executive presence.
He has worked with executives and leaders in companies such as Coca-Cola, Jackson Healthcare, Elsevier, LexisNexis, The Home Depot, Southwire, Piedmont Hospital, Turner Construction, AXIS Capital and BlackRock.
JD has expanded his practice to assisting national and international architecture and construction firms win competitive, shortlist presentations. Projects range from $150 million to $1.5 billion.
He holds a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Georgia Tech.
He is also very active in his community. He is one of the founders of the City of Brookhaven, Founder and President of the Brookhaven Police Foundation, and an active fundraiser for the Navy SEAL Foundation.

2017 - 2018
Denny & Mayis Advisors identified excess land owned by a financial services firm that was developed into 250,000 SF 140 unit student dorm. The financial services firm leased back retail space upon completion of the project, rightsizing their operations while increasing branding rights.
PORTFOLIO OPTIMIZATION
2014 - 2019
Developed a five year corporate real estate portfolio optimization plan that recapitalized $50M in under utilized property to fund the modernization of more than 200,000 SF of office space, while delivering $20M in savings.

2002 - 2006
Owner representative that put together the team responsible for design and construction of 250,000 SF build-to-suit co-location data centers in Atlanta, Herndon, Austin, and Miami.
COVID-19 IMPACT ON ASSET VALUE

Evaluation of $500M in retail and office property to determine the impact COVID-19 has had on the valuation of assets, which resulting in book values being lowered by $56M .
OFFICE CONSOLIDATION
2020
Consolidation of class A office space in Raleigh NC and Charlotte NC that required identifing two new locations and negotiating lease terms that reduced tenant's occupancy costs by more than 40%.
DISASTER RECOVERY
2010
Completed $250M renovation of 1,100 room hotel & casino after hurricane Katrina in four months, allowing 6 month ROI as a result of thru increased gaming revenue and reimbursement of insurance claims.
